August 2023: Mrs. Heather Jackson is our Administrative Assistant for our student services departments. She too went above and beyond this summer in assisting with the preparations of our students orientation week and opening week of school. She is a blessing to our school and those who serve with her. She provides patient and kind support to our staff, parents, and students. Thank you Mrs. Jackson!

 
tanyaAugust 2023: All summer long, Mrs. Hill assisted in training new back office staff and providing friendly service. As our payroll and benefits technician, she of course has a role with everyone on staff. She has been generous with her time and kindness all summer long while expertly covering some essential back office duties. Thank you Mrs. Hill for your long history with Santa Rosa Academy

August 2023: Coach Wood is our PE department chair and one of our staff leads in Middle School. She helped our Principal search committee and helped us to land our wonderful Principal Gray. She also invested herself heavily in the readiness of the PE department over summer. She frequently avails herself to help our community and is one of our anchors in Middle school in grounding our students in healthy values and activity. Thank you Coach Wood!

September 2023: Mrs. Damiano is an exceptional employee. She cares so much about the students and creates wonderful learning opportunities for the students she supports. The students look forward to Mrs. Damiano being in their class. The teachers that Haley supports always have nothing but positive things to say about her. She shows up each day with a smile on her face. Mrs. Damiano is great at upholding the character traits with the students. She is a great asset for SRA. She is always willing to jump in and help. You rock! Mrs. Damiano is a wonderful example of a Ranger alumnus coming back to join the SRA family as a staff member and continuing the legacy of excellence at our school.

September 2023: Mrs. Gedeon is deserving of this award for consistently going above and beyond the expectations of her job title. Her cheerful influence extends beyond her own department. She is a thoughtful, caring, and supportive co-worker who shares resources and ideas that greatly benefit students and other teachers. Kristi is the hardest-working teacher I've ever met. She is always willing to help out even when it is not her subject area. She always has time to help her team and has become a great friend who you can rely upon. Kristi is such an integral part of the team at SRA and I know that our school is a better place by having her in it. She is a superstar, do-it-all amazingly helpful teacher and friend. Such an amazing team member here, I don't know what we'd do without her!

October 2023: Our Certificated Employee of the Month is one our STEM Engineering and Leadership Teachers, Miguel Sanchez. “Mr. Sanchez has done a great job taking on the Ranger Leadership class. He is respected by students and colleagues. He advocates for SRA's mission and honor code in all that he does. He makes those around him feel appreciated and valued. I am so impressed by how Miguel has jumped right in as Leadership Advisor. He is not only a strong teacher, but he has also worked hard to facilitate student connections, increase staff participation in events and sports games, and teach the students strong leadership skills. He always follows the SRA standards and upholds those standards in his students. I appreciate him and all of his hard work this year."

October 2023: Our classified Employee of the Month is our Attendance Clerk, Cassandra Abraham.  “I am nominating Cassandra Abraham as Employee of the Month because she is a great example of someone who consistently exhibits the three pillars of excellence, integrity, and respect. She is always willing to help out others and she does so with a positive attitude. Her patience, kindness, and understanding help model what we hope our students learn while here at school. She is a wonderful person to have on the SRA team. Cassandra is always going above and beyond. She demonstrates integrity and is always helping out wherever it is needed. Cassandra is a great asset to the SRA team and always has a positive attitude.”

November 2023: Congratulations to our MS English and Leadership Teacher Mrs. Kati Falsetto! Here are some of the reports of her awesomeness. “Kati always has a positive attitude and is loved by her students and colleagues. She goes and above and beyond to plan and facilitate activities that promote school spirit and school unity. Kati has put together MANY events that all of her students appreciate and have enjoyed! I appreciate that she is always willing to go the extra mile.” Thank you Mrs. Falsetto!!

November 2023: Congratulations to Mr. Bob Lyons. He serves our community part-time managing Athletic Equipment and providing Facilities Support. He was nominated by many individuals who all sing his praises. Here are some of those remarks. “He is that consistent person you can always count on and he is always willing to lend a helping hand”, “Because he is the BEST and does EVERYTHING”! “He makes sure our sports programs are ready to go with anything and everything we need. We love having Bob on our team”! “Coach Bob lives the characteristics of Excellence, Integrity and respect! He is always ready to do whatever he can with a smile. He always treats everybody with respect and kindness. He is probably the most underrated staff member as he is always behind the scenes working to make all of our athletic events function with out a hitch." We salute you Coach Lyons.

December 2023: The Certificated Employee of the Month is our School Psychologist, Julia Miller. Said by her multiple nominators, “Julia always goes above and beyond to help others, not only students, but staff as well. Although her job demands her to balance many things at once, she does it gracefully and with a smile on her face. She is a valuable source of knowledge and is sensitive to the needs of all families and support members. Mrs. Miller is awesome at what she does, is there for anyone, and is always willing to help. She makes everyone feel welcomed, and always positive. Julia is a tremendous asset to SRA!”
reubenDecember 2023: The Classified Employee of the Month is our Elementary NightCustodian, Reuben Murillo. Said by multiple nominators, “Reuben is a kind soul who is always seen with a smile on his face. He demonstrates our school-wide traits of character that we strive to teach our students. He has great communication with his teachers and his willingness to do what is asked is top notch. There is no job Reuben is not willing to do, and is always willing to help in any capacity as exemplified by his going above and beyond for a teacher needing assistance with keys locked in their car. He offered to call AAA on his account to assist with no question. Rueben takes great pride in making sure the Elementary area is at its best for our students and staff. Reuben is a true example of what the #1 Elementary School Custodian in Riverside County should look like. Thank you Reuben!”

dana morabitoJanuary 2024: Our Certificated Employee of the Month is one of our Blue Track 4th grade teachers, Mrs. Dana Morabito. Said of her by her nominators, “She is incredibly hard-working and works to support others at SRA. She goes above and beyond to support her students in further developing their academic and social skills. Mrs. Morabito works tirelessly for our elementary school community and is truly deserving of this recognition. As a department chair, Dana is a wealth of information. She does a great job of communicating with her department team and being an invaluable resource when any of us have questions or concerns. She really cares for her students and it shows in the way that she goes above and beyond for them in all areas. Dana is an amazing teacher and coworker and I'm thankful to be a part of her team!”

jessica seippJanuary 2024: Our Classified Employee of the Month is our Facilities/Purchasing Technician, Ms. Jessica Seipp. Said of her by her nominators, “She always serves with a smile on her face. She is a true team player who is always available to help wherever and whenever she is needed. As she famously says "Go Team Go!". She consistently demonstrates an exceptional commitment to her role and has made invaluable contributions to SRA. She exhibits an unparalleled dedication to ensuring the seamless operation of our school. Her cheerful demeanor is a delight to be around as she epitomizes what it is to be a Ranger. Rain or shine, she always Rangers on (with a smile of course)!

Said of her by her nominators, “Amie is hardworking and dedicated to supporting her students, families, and colleagues. Mrs. Batin is someone who models and truly values great compassion, responsibility, respect, and excellence. She is someone you can rely on, and is someone you can trust. I truly believe she deserves to be acknowledged for this award. SRA is proud she is a Ranger!
nancy dustFebruary 2024: Our Classified Employee of the Month is our Student Records/Special Education Clerk Nancy Dust. Said of her by her nominators, “Nancy always has a good attitude, is friendly, and I appreciate that she takes on extra work without hesitation. She is always positive and super helpful to all around her. Nancy has always made it a priority to know all that is happening on and around campus and embodies the SRA spirit and character.” SRA is proud to call her a Ranger!
paulaMarch 2024: Our Certificated Employee of the Month is one of our White Track Educational Advisors, Paula Kaspryzk. Said of her in her nomination, “Paula's unwavering commitment to enhancing the school experience sets her apart. Her dedication shines through in her continuous efforts to organize and promote extra activities like clubs and after-school programs, enriching the educational environment for both students and staff. Paula is an extraordinary individual who effortlessly manages to juggle numerous responsibilities, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills. Moreover, her articulate communication, both spoken and written, adds an extra layer of excellence to her contributions”.
maryMarch 2024: Our Classified Employee of the Month is our Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant, Mary Schwartz. Said of her by her nominators, “Mary's bubbly personality and fun approach to teaching speech is what makes her such a positive asset to SRA. From kindergarten to high school, the students love working with her. She puts 100% into everything she does and it doesn't go unnoticed. She is always taking the time to instill great character into all her students but teaching them how to properly engage with others and express their needs. The children are our future and Ms. Mary's understanding of this shows in the dedication she puts into her students. She really sees the whole child and teaches them to embody our core values of excellence, integrity, and respect. The world needs more people like Mary. She is a true model of what SRA was created to be. We are all thankful to have Mary here working with students”.
tiffanyApril 2024: Our Certificated EOM is none other than one of our MS ELA Teachers and our MS Dept. Chair, Dr. Tiffany Edwards. Said of her by her nominators, “She is simply awesome. Dr. Edwards has always been encouraging and has been consistent in checking in on how co-workers are feeling and if there are any questions that they have. She has a welcoming demeanor and an engaging classroom and is always doing her best to ensure that her students understand the content. She is an educator whom others aim to emulate.

She gives the same level of respect no matter who she is talking to, whether a fellow colleague, a parent, a student, or anyone who comes into the front office, and in return others respect her for it. She is always willing to help others and she does so with a positive attitude. If there is a problem to be solved, she often offers possible solutions to help solve the problem. Her patience, kindness, and understanding help model what we hope our students learn while here at school. She is a wonderful person to have on the SRA team.”
