Title I

Santa Rosa Academy receives Title I funding for a targeted group of students, and this funding is allocated to support the academic progress of students. The Title I program is a federally funded program authorized under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965 as reauthorized by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The State Educational Agency (SEA) shall award grants to geographically diverse local educational agencies (schools/districts). The purpose is to ensure all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach minimum proficiency.

Every year, SRA  holds a meeting to explain the Title I program and how families can get involved, where performance data is shared as well as information about how funds are currently being used.

If you missed this year's meeting, feel free to watch the read the slides posted below.
