Character Education & Curriculum

Character is a foundational component of SRA. While character formation begins at home, we believe everyone who interacts with a child or teen has an opportunity to teach or encourage positive social values. Through the Character First Curriculum, we incorporate fun, engaging, positive, practical, and research-based lessons that will help students build the character and competence needed for success.

First and foremost, we have the character component, which is one of our foundational features in Santa Rosa Academy's overall mission. Parents and teachers access our character packets and posters on the SRA portal and integrate the teaching of these lessons during their daily curriculum instruction.

We host monthly character assemblies to celebrate outstanding students of character. These TK-12th grade monthly assemblies require our students to participate in their formal dress attire. Please feel free to visit our Santa Rosa Academy school calendar on our website for more specific information on your child's grade level assembly schedule.
