Mrs. Hansen

 

I graduated from California State University San Marcos (B.S. Kinesiology) and Westers Governors University (science credential and Masters degree)

 

I’m a passionate educator with a strong background in health, fitness, and science. With over 15 years of martial arts experience, a love for tennis, and accomplishments in marathon running—including completing the iconic Boston Marathon—I value discipline, perseverance, and lifelong learning. My professional experience includes working in a physical therapy clinic, where I developed a deeper understanding of human movement, rehabilitation, and patient care. I earned my degree in Kinesiology and later completed a Master’s degree in Science Education. I’m passionate about teaching biomedical science because it allows me to combine my love for health and science with inspiring and preparing the next generation of students for future careers in medicine and healthcare.

I love to run and compete in marathons. I have a green thumb and I love to garden. In my spare time, I am taking care of my 10 geckos, working on my garden, reading, playing tennis or running!
