Bio:

Hi, I'm Monica Jackson and I've taught 9th grade ELA at Santa Rosa for four years now. I've also taught theater, college & career, and journalism. Prior to that, I taught English (as a core subject and a language) for 12 years at different colleges and universities, while travelling with my husband (who retired from the Navy last year) and our three kids. One of the coolest places I've ever worked was for Wayland Baptist University when I taught English aboard a Coast Guard ship! I love teaching English because I enjoy reading, research and writing. When I'm not teaching, I love exploring new places, coaching soccer, and singing, all while spending time with family and friends.
