Bio:
I am an art educator, professional artist, and creative leader with two decades of experience in visual arts education. I hold an MFA in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design and have taught students in urban, rural, and suburban communities, experiences that have deeply shaped my approach to teaching and mentorship.
Currently, I teach secondary visual arts and dual enrollment college-level art courses at Santa Rosa Academy, where I also serve in school leadership as an Administrative Designee. My passion lies in creating rigorous, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences that help students develop both technical artistic skills and confidence in their own creative voices.
Beyond the classroom, I am a practicing artist with museum exhibition experience and a strong commitment to arts advocacy, curriculum innovation, and educational leadership. Whether I am building new programs, organizing student exhibitions, or guiding young artists through complex creative challenges, I believe art education has the power to transform lives and connect people in profound ways.
