Board President and Parent Representative
Serving 3rd term until June 30, 2026

Eric Russell was born in northern Montana, where he attended elementary school. He moved to San Diego by middle school and grew up there till he attended college in Hawaii. While there, he met his wife, who lived on the island and also attended the same college. Eric and Amberlyn have 4 boys that all are part of SRA, as current students or graduates. They have done all three tracks but currently, have them all enrolled on blue track. He has lived in Menifee for over 18 years. Eric loves to travel and get outdoors. His job gives him opportunities to go overseas and spend time with his family. He has served in several capacities to help with his local community. He loves SRA and wants to help in any way possible.

Board Treasurer and Parent Representative
Serving 5th term until June 30, 2026

Brooke Snell is a parent to two children at Santa Rosa Academy. She has one son in 12th grade and one son, a graduate of the class of 2025. Both children had been enrolled in blue track since Kindergarten, with the exception of 1 semester in red track. She retired from American Airlines, working as a Flight Attendant to become a stay-at-home mom. Brooke currently enjoys operating a home bakery focused on specialty cakes. Working from home affords her the opportunity to volunteer her time in many aspects at SRA, her children’s sports teams, and her church. Brooke and her husband have lived in Menifee since 2009. As a family, they enjoy camping, music, and sports. She considers it a blessing to be a part of the SRA family and looks forward to the new growth and opportunities in the future.

Serving 6th term until June 30, 2027

Kellie Welty and her husband Dale have lived in Canyon Lake for a combined 35 years. Kellie has three children. Adam is a Nuclear Engineer with the United States Navy. Allison lives in San Diego and is a Veterinarian Tech for a local emergency hospital. Kellie has been a Santa Rosa parent since her daughter attended SRA in 2010. Kellie’s youngest son, Nicholas, is an SRA Graduate from class of 2025. Kellie is a retired Application Engineer who also sold Real Estate for many years, serving the local community. Kellie is currently involved in many organizations that support the local community.

Terry Cole is a retired member of the United States Navy and currently works for the Department of Veteran Affairs in Riverside, California. He has lived in Riverside County since 2010. He has been involved with the community of Menifee as a youth soccer coach and was an Assistant Little League Coach for the community of Canyon Lake. He has a son who attends Paloma High School.

Serving 4th term until June 30, 2027

Scott Mason has lived in Menifee for the past 17 years. Mr. Mason served his country for 4 years as a Sergeant in the United States Army Reserves where he served as a Psychological Warfare Specialist (Airborne). Mr. Mason served the residents of Riverside County for 12 years as a Deputy District Attorney for the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Mason has served as a Deputy County Counsel in the Child Welfare Division of the Riverside County Counsel’s Office since 2019. During Law School, Mr. Mason served as a Liaison in the America Bar Association’s Sections of Litigation and International Law, and while serving in that capacity Mr. Mason and other members of the ABA's Law Student Division successfully lobbied congress in support of passing the Public Student Loan Forgiveness act, which benefits all members of public service by forgiving their Federal Student Loans after 10 years of public service. Mr. Mason is a graduate of Grossmont Community College, UCSD, and the School of Law at USD. He enjoys serving his community and he loves SRA.

David Foust is a retired Treatment Plant Manager for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. Dave was also an adjunct professor of Water Technology at Mt. San Antonio Community College for 7-years. Dave and his wife Sandy have lived in Riverside County for 39-years and have resided in Menifee for the past 11-years. They have 6 handsome sons, 5 beautiful daughters-in-law, and 14 awesome grandchildren. He is Chair of the Menifee Parks, Recreation, and Trails Commission, Vice Chair of the Menifee Interfaith and Community Service Council, Communications Director for his church, and volunteers regularly for Menifee CERT, the American Red Cross, and the Menifee Community Services Department.

Dave has an Associate of Arts degree from Riverside Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Public Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Nicole Farnum was born and raised in Ohio and relocated to the Inland Valley in 2010. She moved here, with her husband Evan, after finishing graduate school at University of Toledo. When Nicole first moved here, she was heavily involved in the community, sitting on multiple non-profit boards and volunteering in her spare time. In 2013 Nicole was awarded 40 under 40 by the Murrieta Chamber and in 2017 was named Valley Young Professional of the year. Nicole has one daughter, Nora, who is in Kindergarten and her family is her everything. In 2020, Nicole left her position as Director of Wound Care at Inland Valley Hospital to be home with her daughter and pursue her career in Real Estate. After four years in the business, Nicole got her broker license and she and her husband started their own Real Estate Brokerage in Menifee, called Mommy & Me Realty. Nicole believes strongly that investing in our youth is of utmost importance and she is grateful for the opportunity to serve on the board at Santa Rosa Academy.
