Cadet Captain Velasco has worked hard at maintaining a 4.0 GPA, while also serving as a California Cadet Corps Cadet Commander and volunteering in her church and community. C/CPT Velasco has led by example and continues to inspire her peers to strive for excellence. C/CPT Velasco will receive her award and be honored at tonight's Menifee City Council meeting at 6 p.m.
