Vanessa's book is titled Nova Goes to the Moom and is the story of a young girl named Nova. She dreams about going to the moon and will not take no for an answer. Along with the help of a friend, Nova will venture on her mission to the moon. Shehani Koshila beautifully illustrated Vanessa's 24-pages book. Vanessa's mom, Nancy Christian, said, "The book started as a family competition to write the best story as we were trying to keep the kids busy over summer break. We voted that Vanessa's book was the winner. She was excited to win and put in the work to actually get it published." Congratulations to Vanessa for her very first book!
