Freshmen

A minimum of 230 credits selected from the following courses of study: 
 
  • English - 4 years required equaling 40 credits toward graduation. 
  • Mathematics - 3 years required equaling 30 credits toward graduation. Students must pass Algebra I. 
  • Social Science - 3 years required equaling 30 credits toward graduation. 
  • Science - 2 years required equaling 20 credits toward graduation. Students must take and pass 1 course from the physical sciences and 1 course from the life sciences.
  • Visual & Performing Arts - 1 year required equaling 10 credits toward graduation. Art, Graphic Design, Dig Photo, Drama, and Spanish can fulfill the requirement.
  • State Requirements Physical Education - 2 years are required equaling 20 credits toward graduation. 
  • Electives - Electives are any combination of a yearlong or semester course not from the disciplines listed above or any combination of a yearlong or semester course above and beyond the minimum requirements in the above disciplines. 
  • Community Service - Santa Rosa Academy students will be completing a Community Service Project by the end of their junior year. This is a requirement to earn a diploma. Students must get the project approved before beginning the work for it. It can be approved anytime in the 9th grade and on.
