Additional Lottery Information
If your child turns 5 prior to Sept. 2, your child will be enrolling into Kindergarten.
Our annual lottery will be held the first Friday in March. Due to the large number of names on our lists, our Lottery is done electronically using a random list generating program. All students entered into the lottery are assigned a Lottery ID number (Deadline is February 21, 2025)

The random public lottery determines an applicant’s placement on our wait list. Those who request to enter the lottery after the open enrollment deadline are added to the bottom of the lottery wait list in the order they are received. Offers for openings are made in lottery placement/wait list order until the spots are filled or the wait list is exhausted.
Lottery ID numbers are sent out electronically to parents. Please keep your student’s Lottery ID number on file as it will be used to post the Lottery results. Your Lottery ID number will be used for you student every year until they are enrolled and no longer requesting a track transfer. If you have not received a lottery number for your student by February 28th, please contact [email protected].

At any time when a parent forgets their student’s Lottery ID number they will be able to retrieve the waitlist code on the fillable lottery application which was used to sign up for the annual lottery.
Students must be enrolled at SRA at the time of the lottery to be eligible for a track transfer through the lottery.
A current SRA student must be remained enrolled in SRA at the time of the lottery for their sibling to qualify for the sibling priority in the lottery.
Initial offers for the upcoming school year will be made via email. When an offer is made, applicants need to notify the school within 48 hours to indicate whether or not they will accept; if offers are declined or applicants do not respond, the spot is then offered to the next applicant on the placement/wait list.
