SARC – School Accountability Report Card
What is a School Accountability Report Card (SARC)?
Since November 1988, state law has required all public schools receiving state funding to prepare and distribute a SARC. A similar requirement is also contained in the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). The purpose of the report card is to provide parents and the community with important information about each public school. A SARC can be an effective way for a school to report on its progress in achieving goals. The public may also use a SARC to evaluate and compare schools on a variety of indicators. Education Protection Act Notice
Santa Rosa Academy (SRA) is required to annually post on it’s website both how much Education Protection Account (EPA) funds were received and how they were spent in the prior fiscal year. Second, how much EPA is projected to be received in the current fiscal year and the spending plan for the current fiscal year.
SRA had received $2,504,935 for the 2018-19 fiscal year which was spent on teacher salaries.
Resolution 3047 was passed by the School Board on May 16, 2019 which approved that the funds be spent on teacher salaries; the projected amount in the resolution is $2,130,248.

ANNUAL NOTICE REGARDING PUPIL FEES AS REQUIRED BY ASSEMBLY BILL 1575 (CHAPTERED SEPTEMBER 29, 2012)
In 2012, the Governor of California signed into law Assembly Bill 1575 (“AB 1575”), which amended certain provisions of the Education Code and Government Code. One of those amendments requires schools to publish an annual notice to pupils, parents and guardians, employees and other interested parties regarding the requirements of AB 1575 (see Cal.Ed.Code section 49013(e)).
In compliance with Cal.Ed.Code section 49013(e), on an annual basis Santa Rosa Academy provides this notice to all required parties.

The “Resolution Regarding The Education Protection Account” was passed by the School Board on 6-18 2020 which approved that the funds be spent on teacher salaries; the projected amount in the resolution is $3,294,835.
