Dr. Hennings
 
Dr. Robert Hennings and his wife, Charity, have two children, Anna and A.J. His family schedule includes swim team, ballet, karate, and church activities---just to name a few. Dr. Hennings has served students, staff, and families in traditional and charter public education through a variety of roles, including Teacher, Athletic Coach, School Counselor, Programs Coordinator, Principal, Schools Director, Assistant Superintendent, and Superintendent. Dr. Hennings has an AS in Radiologic Technology, a BS in Health Sciences, an MS in School Counseling, and Doctorate in Educational Leadership. He began his career in education in 1999 as a Teacher and Coach, before serving as a Counselor and then going into Administration. Some of Dr. Hennings' favorite activities include gardening, visiting museums, traveling-exploring, antique maps, hockey, baseball, and appreciating classic cars. He enjoys cheering for his favorite sports teams, especially the Dodgers.
 
Rich Quesada
 
Rich Quesada is a very involved parent for Santa Rosa Academy. Rich and his wife, Corie, have 4 children attending Santa Rosa. Cameron, a Senior, is a 4-year Varsity football player. Brendan, a 9th grader, also plays varsity football. Aaron, a 7th grader, also plays football and has started to assist the needs of the varsity football team. Jillian, a 4th grader, is the family cheerleader and also loves sports and is learning to golf. Rich has been the assistant coach of the offensive line for varsity football since 2019. In his other life, he works as a sales territory manager for Abbott's Cardiac Rhythm Management division. He has worked in the medical field for 20+ years, starting in bench research at USC to managing a team that helps implant and take care of patients who need Cardiac devices. His love for his kids shows in his involvement with youth through his church, school, and the community. He decided to be a part of the foundation board to help serve Santa Rosa and to become a liaison between parents and the Board. Rich graduated from the University of LaVerne with a degree in Biology, where he was ASB President and served in student body government for 3+ years. He has a long tenure as a manager in sales and clinical cardiac care. He was internationally certified by the Heart Rhythm Society in 2007, has obtained multiple sales awards, including being a multi-year President’s club winner and Territory manager of the year. His current volunteer experience is with our own Santa Rosa football Team, the SRA Foundation board, and he is currently an Elder at Canyon Lake Community Church.
 
June NguyenJune Nguyen grew up in Corona, where she first met her husband while attending H.S. They both moved to Menifee in 2011 and started a family; a daughter who is an SRA Kindergarten Red Track graduate, a son who is a Preschooler, and a baby girl.
June graduated from RCC with an Associate's in Natural Science, Humanities, and Early Childhood Education-Assistant Teacher. June is also a graduate of Loma Linda University from the School of Allied Health with a Bachelor in Science in Respiratory Care. Currently, she is a stay-at-home Mom. Her husband is a Technical Sergeant in the US Air Force at March Air Force Base and is where June volunteers as the Key Spouse to the unit. June is involved in a number of organizations that support the military and local community. If June is not volunteering or making donations, she is working on DIY projects, RVing, or traveling with her family. She is honored to be a part of SRA and the SRAF Board Member family.
 
bockJudith Kuperberg Bock is a partner at Proactive Legal ~ The Bock Law Group, PC which she and her husband opened up in June of 2020. With financial cutbacks for individuals and school districts happening all around them, Proactive Legal was created to solve problems through cost-effective and innovative means in an effort to avoid costly litigation and create amicable resolutions. Proactive Legal started out as a General Practice firm with a focus on consumer law, small business, and employment defense with Brian’s main focus on representing school districts and business clients. Judith is forging a different path as her passion lies in helping the individual and their family so her area is Estate Planning - drafting the best will, living will, healthcare power of attorney, financial power of attorney, trusts, and how to correctly assign guardianship of children.
 
Judith graduated from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA, and is licensed to practice law in CA. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara where she doubled major in Sociology and Psychology and graduated with honors a semester early. Prior to law school, Judith worked as a private investigator and an investigator for the Public Defender’s Office, and then as a District Attorney Intern. After she passed the California Bar Exam, she became a Plaintiff’s Lawyer specializing in employment discrimination and then worked as a Television Representative for the Screen Actors Guild before becoming Manager of Talent Negotiations for Cartoon Network (worldwide). After staying at home to raise her two children, Judith was approached and offered two long-term substitute teaching positions right here at Santa Rosa Academy: she taught Kindergarten and 2nd-grade.
 
Judith enjoys volunteering and helping out her community. Besides being on the Board of her Church, Judith is currently an active member of the following clubs: Canyon Lake Newbie & Social Club, Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce, Riverside County Bar Association, Canyon Lake Junior Women’s Club, Canyon Lake Woman’s Club, Mermaids of Canyon Lake, Co-founder of 9/11 Canyon Lake Tribute in Lights and the Canyon Lake Family Matters Club. Judith has worked on countless events and fundraising for these and other clubs and organizations. Judith loves to travel with her family and is always helping out one group or another. Judith looks forward to helping out the Santa Rosa Academy Foundation as much as possible.
 
 
SilvaAlexandra Leal Silva is a proud first-generation American who is passionate about serving her community. She is an alumni of Santa Rosa Academy, graduating in 2016, and the aunt of a current SRA student. Alexandra has lived in Menifee her entire life and has always looked for opportunities to get involved with the community. While at Santa Rosa Academy, Alexandra was a member of the first Leadership class, served on the Menifee Youth Commission, traveled to Sacramento with Executive Director Dr. Badillo to advocate for K-12 education, and was appointed as the only high school student on Vice President Joe Biden’s It’s On Us Committee. 

Alexandra then went on to UC Santa Barbara where she would graduate with a BA in History of Public Policy & Law. While at UCSB, she served as the co-chair of Lobby Corp, mobilizing hundreds of students in advocacy & lobbying campaigns. She also worked as a Basic Needs organizer and managed to raise $20,000 for COVID relief during the start of the pandemic. It was during undergrad that Alexandra realized she always wanted to be in positions where she could support students and young people like herself. 
 
Currently, Alexandra is the Operations and Development Associate at California Common Cause where she cultivates small-donors, co-runs their youth program, and organizes programs to bring in a diverse membership. One of her proudest accomplishments is co-creating and hosting “Democracy Is”, a podcast dedicated to exploring Democracy issues throughout California and how it affects communities.

Along with working at California Common Cause, Alexandra is also the Southern California Fellow for IGNITE National. In this role, Alexandra organizes young women across the region to be empowered and tap into their own political power. 
 
She holds a BA in History of Public Policy & Law from UC Santa Barbara. 
 
 

Santa Rosa’s Foundation board is thrilled to have Tammy Vavken-Hylton as a valued member of the organization. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Science from Vanguard University in 2000 and a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the organization. 


Tammy Vavken-Hylton has been happily married and is a proud parent of five children. They enjoy engaging in outdoor activities as a a family and lead an active lifestyle, fostering a sense of togetherness and bonding through shared adventures. Their family has been a dedicated foster family for the past 16 years. They have opened their hearts and home to newborns in need of care and nurturing, providing a safe and loving environment during the most critical stages of their lives.


Having spent the past 15 years managing a retail location in Southern California for a leading technology company, Tammy Vavken-Hylton has honed their skills in leadership and customer service. This experience has provided them with a deep understanding of the importance of teamwork, innovation, adaptability and staying ahead in a rapidly evolving industry. 


In addition to her successful Career in the corporate sector, Tammy Vavken-Hylton has a strong commitment to community service and a desire to make a positive impact. Most recently she was a Board member for the past 5 years for The LGBTQ+ Resource Center of Riverside County. In this capacity she support the local LGBTQ youth to have safe spaces at their schools and provide training for educators to provide inclusive and accepting learning environments. This dedication led them to join the Santa Rosa Foundation Board, where they can apply their skills and expertise to benefit individuals and groups in need. 


Tammy Vavken-Hylton excels at building meaningful relationships with stakeholders, community partners, and volunteers. Their ability to connect with people and collaborate effectively enables them to maximize the organization impact and create lasting change. 


With their dedication, professionalism, creativity, and innovative thinking, Tammy Vavken-Hylton is an invaluable asset to Santa Rosa’s Foundation Board. They are passionate about their work and fully committed to making a difference in the lives of those they serve.

Terry Cole is a retired member of the United States Navy and currently works for the Department of Veteran Affairs in Riverside, California. He has lived in Riverside County since 2010. He has been involved with the community of Menifee as a youth soccer coach and was an Assistant Little League Coach for the community of Canyon Lake. He has a 14-year-old son, who just started 9th grade at Paloma High School.
