Educational Programs (White, Red & Blue)
Santa Rosa Academy is a TK-12 public charter school. Our charter was approved on April 12, 2005, by the Menifee Union School District. We operate as an independent school from the district, with our own school board and administrative services.
Santa Rosa Academy is proud to offer three distinct programs. Blue Track is a full-time, on-site traditional school program. We also offer two homeschool options: a Red Track full-time at home Independent Study program for grades TK-12, as well as a White Track part time-on-site and at-home Independent Study program.
Blue Track K-12
Our Blue Track program is a full-time (5 days a week), site-based program taught by highly qualified, credentialed teachers. Santa Rosa Academy offers a STEM-based, innovative approach to instruction. Our secondary course offerings include engineering, biomedical, art and technology, business, and career and technical education.
For Blue Track lottery information and our waiting list, visit the Enrollment page.
Red Track TK-12
Red Track is a full-time At Home Independent Study TK-12 program. Parents are given lesson plans, materials, and resources to provide direct instruction at home. Weekly parent/teacher meetings with a student’s Educational Advisor (EA) provide families with ongoing support and student progress monitoring.
Red track students may attend enrichment workshops in grades TK-8 with the option of selecting classes to supplement learning at the high school level. Optional field trips, social events, student/parent workshops, and tutoring for students are offered for TK-8 students. High School Independent Study students have access to site facilities/classes as space is made available. Red Track students may participate in school-wide events, assemblies, and sports.
White Track K-8
Our White Track is a blend of our Blue and Red Tracks. White Track students attend class on-site two days a week. The remaining three days are At Home Independent Study days, using the lessons and resources provided by the classroom teacher/EA. Students on White Track benefit from the one-on-one home school support and small class sizes on campus.
