Yes, in order from highest priority to lowest: Currently enrolled, Staff, Siblings, Board Members, Menifee Union School District, and General Public.
*Track Transfers have priority over Siblings and the General Public. This includes Lottery Track Transfers and Current Track Transfers.
**Important note about Heritage Students: A Heritage Student is identified as a student who continuously attended Santa Rosa Academy since PRIOR TO the opening of the new campus or the 2013-14 school year. These students would have attended school at the Main Campus at MSJC, Santa Rosa Academy West or the shopping center on Baxter Road in Wildomar. Heritage and Siblings need to be verified by Administration and Registrar. Board member students have priority after staff when they have served four years.
For the 2021/22 Lottery, a Menifee USD Student Priority has been put in place.
This priority is for TK-8th grade students that reside in the Menifee Union School District boundaries. They must be residing in these boundaries at the time of the lottery and the time of placement.
Current enrolled student’s siblings information:
A student must be enrolled by 8-15-19 and stay continuously enrolled until the start of the 2021/22 school year for their sibling to qualify for the sibling priority in the 2020/21 lottery.
My child is on the sibling wait list for 2020/21
If your child is already on the sibling wait list for the 2020/2021 school year you DO NOT need to complete any forms for the 2021/22 school year. Your child will be rolled over into the lottery for the same track in which they are currently waiting for. You will receive a lottery confirmation email prior to February 22nd, 2020 to confirm that they are in the 2021/22lottery.
My child is NOT on the sibling wait list for 2020/21
Currently enrolled students with siblings entering Grades TK – 12 for the 2021/22 school year who are NOT on our 2020/21 wait list may complete our online sign up form by February 15th, 2020: http://sra.mn/lottery-sign-up.
My child enrolled after 8-15-19 and I would like their sibling to be added as the sibling priority in 2020/21 and 2021/22.
If you have a child that enrolled after 8-15-19 and you would like to have their sibling added to the wait list, please email email@example.com.
The SRA Wait Lists are built from the results of the annual lottery.
Any student who did not receive placement from the lottery is added to the appropriate category wait list in the order determined by the annual lottery results.
Students who missed the open enrollment deadline for the lottery can also be added to wait lists (e.g. general public) after the lottery by completing the wait list sign up form: http://sra.mn/join-wait-list. All students not in the lottery will be added to the waitlist in the order in which they are received.
Information Meeting attendance is no longer required prior to joining our lottery but required before their enrollment will be finalized.
Any student offered a position after the lottery will be required to attend an informational/enrollment meeting if the family has not already done so. The first five students on the waiting lists will also need to attend the information/enrollment meeting after the lottery.
Will I have to sign up for the lottery every year?
How will I be notified of the lottery results?
You may attend the public lottery but it is not required. Results from the day of the lottery are posted in the front of the school. Results are posted online once the lottery has concluded and the results have been finalized, the Monday after the lottery. Visit: http://sra.mn/annual-lottery. If you are offered placement after the lottery you will be notified via email and/ phone. If your contact information has changed you may update it online: Contact Change Form.
